Size 9” x 9” This Beagle Print is a giclée canvas print of  my original acrylic painting  that was made using archival materials.  This is an illustration from the Wizard’s Choice children’s book. Though out the book the boy is contemplating what he would like to be if he had the power of a wizard. This page illustrates that maybe a beagle would be a good choice. Hang this print of a dog to decorate a children’s room.

Interesting Fact
Beagles can vocalize in 3 different ways. The Beagle is more vocal than other dog breeds. His three types of barks are a regular bark, a bay sound that he uses for hunting, and a howl.

The Process

• First a high resolution scan is made of the artwork.
• Photoshop is used to enhance the edges of the artwork.
• I use an Epson archival printer with pigmented inks to make a canvas print.
• This print is coated with 2 applications of varnished to insure the long life of the print.
• The canvas is stretched over 5/8 inch stretcher bars using a gallery wrap.
• Lastly a wire is installed insuring your canvas print arrives ready to hang.
