Interesting Fact
Butterflies taste with their feet.
While it is common knowledge that most cultures see butterflies as representing transformation, some Native American tribes also believe that they represent comfort, hope and positivity. The exception to this is black butterflies which many Native Americans associate with sickness.

The Process

• First a high resolution scan is made of the artwork.
• Photoshop is used to enhance the edges of the artwork.
• I use an Epson archival printer with pigmented inks to make a canvas print.
• This print is coated with 2 applications of varnished to insure the long life of the print.
• The canvas is stretched over 5/8 inch stretcher bars using a gallery wrap.
• Lastly a wire is installed insuring your canvas print arrives ready to hang.
