This Happy and Free Print is a high quality canvas reproduction using archival materials. This quote is a Sanskrit Mantra, “Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu”. The translation is, “May all beings everywhere be happy and free, may my thoughts and actions contribute to peace for all”. The background is parts of my acrylic paintings, two lotus flowers emerging from water. Chanting this mantra helps us to send a prayer out to the universe as a whole and in doing so we move closer to realizing we are all connected.

The Process

• First a high resolution scan is made of the artwork.
• Photoshop is used to enhance the edges of the artwork.
• I use an Epson archival printer with pigmented inks to make a canvas print.
• This print is coated with 2 applications of varnished to insure the long life of the print.
• The canvas is stretched over 5/8 inch stretcher bars using a gallery wrap.
• Lastly a wire is installed insuring your canvas print arrives ready to hang.
