Description
This Pink Hibiscus Print is a Giclee Canvas Print of the frontal view of a hibiscus flower that takes up most of the image, the rest of the image are the green leaves of the plant.

Interesting Fact
These flowers aren’t just beautiful. Many different cultures such as Egypt, Africa and Iran have used hibiscus treat a variety of health problems including heart disease, constipation, and to heal wounds. Studies have shown that hibiscus may be beneficial in treating cancer, high blood pressure, and weight loss.

The Process
This Hibiscus Print is a high quality reproduction of my original acrylic painting using archival materials.

• A high resolution scan was made of the artwork.
• The image was extended to blend the sides of the painting to the original artwork in Photoshop
• A high quality canvas print was made using an Epson archival printer with pigmented inks.
• The print was then varnished with 2 coats of Giclee varnish to seal the quality of the ink and insure the long term preservation of the artwork
• The canvas was then stretched on 5/8” wide stretcher bars using a gallery wrap so that no frame is required.
• A hanging wire was installed insuring your canvas print arrives ready to hang.
