This Proud Cat Print is a high quality giclée reproduction of my original acrylic painting of my cat, Rocky, a Siamese mix. Of course in my eyes Rocky was very special and had a great personality. He’s captured here sitting erect in a field of green grass near some purple iris’. In this Proud Cat Print Rocky has a confident, serious expression on his face. I feel this painting caught his essence.

Interesting Fact
Cats purr when they are happy or content but their purring also stimulates bones and muscles so the act of purring also serves to provide healing energy for the cat.

The Process

• First a high resolution scan is made of the artwork.
• Photoshop is used to enhance the edges of the artwork.
• I use an Epson archival printer with pigmented inks to make a canvas print.
• This print is coated with 2 applications of varnished to insure the long life of the print.
• The canvas is stretched over 5/8 inch stretcher bars using a gallery wrap.
• Lastly a wire is installed insuring your canvas print arrives ready to hang.

Rocky is the personification of the “cool cat”.
