This Red Rose Print is a giclée canvas print that was made using archival materials.  There is a predominate beautiful red rose set on a dark blue and teal background.

Interesting Fact
While we all know roses, especially red roses are symbols of love these flowers have an ancient history. Paleontologists have found rose fossils that are 35 million years old which seems fitting as love is eternal.

The Process
This Rose Print is a high quality reproduction of my original acrylic painting using archival materials.

• A high resolution scan was made of the artwork.
• The image was extended to blend the sides of the painting to the original artwork in Photoshop
• A high quality canvas print was made using an Epson archival printer with pigmented inks.
• The print was then varnished with 2 coats of Giclee varnish to seal the quality of the ink and insure the long term preservation of the artwork
• The canvas was then stretched on 5/8” wide stretcher bars using a gallery wrap so that no frame is required.
• A hanging wire was installed insuring your canvas print arrives ready to hang.
