This Cat Sleeping Print is a high quality giclée reproduction of my original charcoal drawing using archival materials. The only way I could use Thor as a live model was to draw him when sleeping. I think this is a great opportunity to talk about Thor, he was a great friend and very a very unique cat. We have a pond outback that has a path-Thor would walk with us down the path (unlike our cat Rocky who jumped into the pond when attempting to walk with him). Thor would also enjoy a short car ride and spend most of the time on the ledge of the back

Interesting Fact
Cats purr when they are happy or content but their purring also stimulates bones and muscles so the act of purring also serves to provide healing energy for the cat.

The Process

• First a high resolution scan is made of the artwork.
• Photoshop is used to enhance the edges of the artwork.
• I use an Epson archival printer with pigmented inks to make a canvas print.
• This print is coated with 2 applications of varnished to insure the long life of the print.
• The canvas is stretched over 5/8 inch stretcher bars using a gallery wrap.
• Lastly a wire is installed insuring your canvas print arrives ready to hang.
