This Yellow Hibiscus Print is a high quality reproduction of my original acrylic painting. I made this Giclee canvas print using high quality archival materials. The yellow hibiscus print is of several yellow flowers floating on a light green background. The background gives the artwork a dreamlike quality.

Interesting Fact
Hibiscus flowers aren’t just beautiful they offer many health benefits. Many cultures such as Egypt, Africa and Iran have used the dried calyxes from the hibiscus flowers to make tea to treat a variety of health problems such as heart disease, constipation, and to heal wounds. Studies have shown that hibiscus may be beneficial in treating cancer, high blood pressure, and weight loss.

The Process

• First a high resolution scan is made of the artwork.
• Photoshop is used to enhance the edges of the artwork.
• I use an Epson archival printer with pigmented inks to make a canvas print.
• This print is coated with 2 applications of varnished to insure the long life of the print.
• The canvas is stretched over 5/8 inch stretcher bars using a gallery wrap.
• Lastly a wire is installed insuring your canvas print arrives ready to hang.
